Are you experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or do you know of someone who is?  Are you confused, scared and unsure of about what to do? 

Catholic Services of Macomb has offered confidential services to men and women in your situation for over 50 years. Our experienced staff are very familiar with all of the questions, thoughts and feelings that you or someone you care about is experiencing.  Let us provide you with support and information so that you can know your options and be able to make informed decisions. There are options and resources available.  You don't have to face your pregnancy alone.  

Catholic Services of Macomb offers confidential services, free of charge for women and men of any background or religion who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.  Services provided include:

• Individual, couples and family counseling

• Assistance in making the best possible plan for you and your baby

• Information on options for parenting and adoption

• Referrals for prenatal care

• Referrals for continuing education

• Referrals for financial assistance

• Assistance in obtaining health insurance if needed to cover the medical expenses associated with your pregnancy and the birth of your baby

• Support in developing parenting skills and a relationship with your infant if you choose to parent

If you choose to place your baby for adoption with a loving family, Catholic Services of Macomb also offers the following services free of charge:

• Counseling for birth mother and family

• Counseling for birth father and family

• Opportunity for you to choose the adoptive family from a number of families who have been approved and are waiting to adopt a child 

• Facilitation of a meeting with the adoptive family, if you choose

• Assistance in determining the level of openness you want to have with your baby after adoption

• Assistance with the legal process of adoption

The experienced staff of Catholic Services of Macomb will be with you through the entire process, and continue to provide counseling and assistance after the birth of your child, whether you choose to parent or adoption. 

Whether you are just beginning to think about your options, or are ready to make a plan for your baby, our experienced, caring staff will meet with you and provide you with information and answers to your questions.
